Complete Information About GST For Students – Goods and Services Tax: As it is known that we use to pay several taxes are various places like if some body visits a restaurant (Air conditioned), the person needs to pay the 14% Tax (in Telangana state) and some Swachh Bharat tax etc, now the central government has implemented a new scheme from 1st July 2017 in which the taxation system of India at both central and state level has been changed, some of them says as there will be a different kind of people living in the country such as poor, rich, medium class, so why shall be tax equal for all? - Gadgets: Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Laptops are costlier after the GST which could have a great impact on students as there are so many students who need Laptops for their projects (specially CSE & IT students in higher education), it could be 18% now.
- Food: Those students who eat outside now may have to pay more tax, in Telangana there use to be almost 15% in AC’ed furnished hotels, but now they have to pay one direct tax of 18% on the name of CGST and SGST which are both 9% that means overall 18%.
- Clothes: Clothing is very important for all especially for everyone, the central government has decided to implement tax more on branded clothes reaches the limit which is Rs.1000/- or Rs.1500/- what ever decided by the Government.

GST had an impact on all sectors of business for both businessmen as well as customers, customer who needs to buy luxurious things may need to pay more tax, one of the minister said in the interview that a person drinking tea at tea shop outside and a person having tea in Air conditioned 5 star hotel, shall the taxes be same for both? While on another hand the textile industry people or businessmen had a lot of rallies in against the GST in textiles, although some sector people think it’s better and few think it’s like a burden to pay more & more tax.
