JNTU Grace Marks Rule for R07, R09, R13, R15, R16 Regulations: Mostly, the students are been confused How to apply for the grace marks and what is a grace mark. They are two rules to have grace marks either for the subject or either to over all degree percentage increment. Students, at last, are most worried about the percentages and at last every single marks or point are valuable so now enough worrying you can have 8 marks or 0.15% increment easily.

Grace Marks Rule for Subjects
Grace marks are the extra bonus marks which are been added to your subject to pass in that subject. Suppose you have got 18 marks in xyz subject and you fail in that subject, you don’t need to worry because JNTU is providing you 0.15% of grace marks i.e. equal to 8 marks and the passing marks in xyz subject is 26 so you can apply for the 8 marks for passing in that subject easily without wasting your 1 year. Suppose the passing marks are 26 and he got 20 marks in xyz subject and he/she needs 6 marks for passing even at that stage he can apply for grace marks. Suppose he got 22 in x subject, 22 in y subject he needs 4 & 4 marks to qualify even at that stage he can apply for the grace marks any equivalent can be followed. Grace Marks Rule for Class Change in Degree:
As we know there are different classes based on your percentage as detailed below.
- Above 70% – First class with distinction.
- 60-70% – First Class
- 50-60%- Second Class
- Below 50% – Pass Class
Suppose, you are pass in all your engineering subjects well that’s great but your percentage is 49.85%, you need more 0.15% to get pass class than without worrying you can apply for grace marks for 0.15% increment and you can easily you can get 50% pass class. Well if you got 59.85% and you are in second class you can apply the same for grace marks and get first class degree easily. From the above two procedure, any one can be followed, both cannot be followed, if you have applied for subject grace marks than over all degree percentage cannot be changed. How & When to Apply for Grace Marks
You need to go to your examination cell in your college or exam branch to apply for the grace marks you do not need to pay any rupees or any fees to apply to the grace marks procedure. When you need to apply, you have to apply for grace marks after you have completed your final year of engineering & checking out the result which subject need to be graced and which to skip you have to decide and apply. Your SSC/10th memo Xerox & a passport size photo, these are the documents you have to submit in your exam branch/cell to apply for grace marks.
