First of all, if you shall know the procedure and know about how to apply for scholarship via online mode than do it personally, if you don’t know how to apply for scholarship via online mode then you need to visit your nearby Mee-Seva or internet cafe where they are applying for scholarships and don’t forget to take your documents which are listed below.
- Aadhar Card
- Bank Account Pass Book
- Income Certificate
- College Bonafide
- Previous Marks Memorandum
- Previous Scholarship ID Number (If renewal)
- Any Other Document (If Required)
Why These Documents are Mandatory for State Government Scholarship Scheme
Previous marks memorandum is may not be mandatory in state government scholarship scheme (depending upon various states), it is only for knowing your marks. So, if asked previous marks memorandum then submits it otherwise, you just need to apply within the time with proper documents. If your family yearly income is above two lakhs then you are not eligible to apply for the scholarship (every state may have different income eligibility criteria). So, with the help of income certificate, you can show your family yearly income to the government (in some states students need only ‘income declaration‘ instead of income certificate), while applying. With the help of college bonafide, you can show your present class of study. If you have already applied last year so your previous ID number helps you to renew without any problem. You will receive the amount of scholarship directly in the bank account, that’s why you need the bank pass book (scanned copy). As you are the citizen of India, that’s why you need Aadhaar card to prove your identity. The operator (if you are not applying by self) will scan your all documents including, marks memorandum as well as the id proof and also the income certificate and then they will submit online into the state government scholarship website and here your state scholarship will be sanctioned after verification. After submitting through online, now you need to get the printout of scholarship ID papers and you need to submit the same to respective school/college.
Note: Students should submit only the xerox copies of all those documents which they scanned at the time of applying for the scholarship. After submitting you need to wait for an almost academic year to complete, probably after the completion of one academic year, you may get your scholarship. Sometimes (based on states) the scholarship may be sanctioned directly to students bank account or school/college’s account from where the students can collect their amount.
Conclusion: In our point of view, the students should apply and extract the benefits from the state government. If you can apply with your own then you can do so, if you can’t then you need to take the help from nearest mee Seva’s or Internet Cafe.
